Yes, You Can Get a Standing Desk for a Corner
Got a corner and want a desk that goes up and down in it? Here’s where I’d start, with the one in our den.
The short answer
Get a straight Bonita ET, for around $1,000, and set it into the corner the way mine sits. It feels sturdy at every height, and you can order it from either store below without a quote.
Mine’s been in a corner of our den since 2020, a Bonita ET with a straight 48 x 30 top. Two monitors and an open laptop fit on it pretty nicely. When I’m in a meeting, I raise it and stand up, and I do the same for routine work when I just want to move around.
I like the depth and the simplicity. The crossbar between the legs keeps it from wobbling. When I’d rather sit, it comes down to standard desk height, 29 inches, which is more comfortable for me.
The motor’s pretty quiet, too. Six years in, nothing about it has really bugged me.
If you’d rather have a desk shaped for the corner, the Bonita comes that way as well.

Do height-adjustable corner desks exist?
Yes, and the Bonita ET is one of them.
Besides the straight top, RightAngle makes it in two shapes for a corner, a corner top and an L-shape.
Neither one is sold by the two stores that carry the straight desk, so you’d go through RightAngle or ask a dealer for a quote.
Corner top or L-shape?
Go by the walls you want to use.
If one top across the corner is all you need, the corner top does it.
If you want work surface down both walls, get the L. It stands on a third leg and lifts 350 lb, so it’s the one for a heavy setup too.
Do you need a corner-shaped desk for a corner?
No. I think a straight desk is the easier one to buy.
You can order it online, and it’ll still fit if you move it to another wall one day.
If you’d rather keep the desk you have, a converter on top lets you stand at it without buying a new one.
