Privacy Policy
What gets collected, and what does not.
Last updated October 18, 2026.
What I collect directly
I don’t ask you for anything, and there are no accounts, no newsletter and no sign-up forms. If you email me, I have your email address and whatever you wrote, and I use it to answer you. I don’t sell data, share it with advertisers, or run ad networks on this site.
What gets collected automatically
Google Analytics runs on every page. It records the pages you view, how far you scroll, the links you click to leave the site and anything you type into the search box, and Google keeps that for 14 months. The nook planner only tells it that someone used the planner, never anything you typed in.
Google explains its side on its page about how it uses data from sites like this one. Its opt-out add-on turns Google Analytics off in your browser.
Microsoft Clarity shows me how people actually use the pages. It records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, builds heatmaps, and can play back a visit. Microsoft handles that data under its own privacy statement.
Google Search Console reports which search terms lead people here and which pages they land on. It arrives in aggregate, so it shows no individual visitor.
Server logs at my host, Hostinger, record standard request data, including IP address, browser and the page requested.
Visitors in Europe
If you’re visiting from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, neither Google Analytics nor Clarity sets cookies for you. Both are set to wait for your consent, and this site doesn’t show a consent banner to ask for it.
Cookies
Outside the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics and Clarity set analytics cookies.
Clicking a paid link tells the store, or the affiliate network it works with, that you came from Corner Nook, so a sale can be credited to this site. That’s done with a cookie, a tag in the link, or both. Each company handles that data under its own privacy policy, and I can’t see any account you have with those companies.
Affiliate links
Some links here earn me a commission if you buy, and any page with one says so right under its title. The affiliate disclosure covers how that works and what it doesn’t change about the recommendations.
Do Not Track
This site doesn’t respond to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. If you want less tracking, blocking cookies in your browser or using Google’s opt-out add-on works instead.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data relates to you, ask for it to be deleted, or object to how it’s processed. I hold almost nothing, so most of these questions resolve quickly. Email me at hello@cornernook.co or through the contact page, and I’ll tell you honestly what exists.
For data held by Google, Microsoft or a retailer, you’ll need to go to them directly, because I can’t reach into their systems on your behalf.
Children
This site is written for adults buying furniture. I don’t knowingly collect anything from children under 13.
Changes and questions
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions about any of it go to hello@cornernook.co, and I’ll answer them.
This policy describes actual practice on this site in plain language. It isn’t legal advice, and it hasn’t been reviewed by a lawyer.
