We don’t own any of these, so this list comes from reading Wayfair’s listings and reviews. The Leaderville’s Wayfair number shows up in a Keonjinn installation manual, which is how I know Keonjinn makes it.

Is it the same mirror on Amazon?

Is a house-label piece just another brand’s product under a new name? And if it is, would buying it under the original name save you money?

For the Leaderville, the answer to the first one is yes. Keonjinn makes it, and it’s on Amazon under Keonjinn’s name in the same size, with the same aluminum frame, rounded shape and wall mount.

The store you pick decides whose return terms you get. Wayfair’s listing carries a one-year warranty, though it’s written for commercial use, so I’d read the Amazon listing for its own terms before choosing.

Keonjinn’s Amazon listing comes in 25 sizes and three finishes, each on its own page, so look for the 24 x 32 inch size in Matte Black.

As for saving money, I can’t answer that for you, since prices change. Either way, the mirror on your wall is the same one.

Our bathroom has a medicine cabinet over the sink, and I wouldn’t give up that storage for a framed mirror. If your bathroom doesn’t need a medicine cabinet, this is the mirror I’d go for.

It looks crisp on the wall, and it’s damp rated, so it’s made to hang in a room with a shower. Setup is straightforward, and one person with a drill can hang it.

The brackets are narrow, so take your time getting them level. A few mirrors arrive bent or with a small gap at the bottom seam, and that’s much easier to send back before it’s on the wall.

Those rounded corners on a black frame are what I love most about it!

These come in a choice of gorgeous colors, and at 3 lb a panel, they’re light enough to hang from a tension rod if you’d rather not drill.

Best rug for a house with a dog in itVintage Striped Area Rug

Best for: under a coffee table or beside a bed.

A rug you can put in the wash makes muddy paws easy to live with, and the rubber backing keeps it from sliding around. It’s thin, so it’s better beside a bed than at a busy front door.

I love that it looks like a proper upholstered bed rather than a bare frame. For a kid who’s asked for a grown-up room, that cream boucle is hard to beat.

The frame can work loose over time, so go around the bolts a week after you build it, then every few months. On the plus side, your mattress goes straight on top, so there’s no box spring to buy.

If you want a modern dresser in a rich color, this is the one I’d look at. I love having colors to pick from on a piece this practical, and setup is straightforward, shoppers say.

It’s tall and top heavy, so it needs strapping to the wall the day you build it. Those shallow drawers suit T-shirts, socks and pajamas, which is most of the laundry pile anyway.

How well does Ebern Designs hold up?

With the mirror, the complaint that keeps coming up in middling reviews is its narrow hanging brackets, and in the one-star reviews it’s a warped reflection. On the curtains, it’s light getting through despite the blackout name.

The furniture’s complaints are about how it’s made. On the dresser, it’s flimsy materials and shallow drawers, and the bed can work loose over time.

So I’d start small, with the mirror or the curtains, before ordering anything you have to build.
