What Ebern Designs is

Use the strap. One owner calls it “dangerously top heavy,” while grumbling about having to put holes in the wall.

Make your peace with the holes. A tall chest with its drawers pulled open is a hazard in a room with a small child in it, and the strap is in the box.

The drawers are shallow, so think about what goes in them.

Does Ebern Designs come with a warranty?

The warranties are thin, so the protection that counts is Wayfair’s 30-day return window. The bed has the best of them, a year against defects, and the curtains and the dresser have none. Check everything inside that first month, while sending it back is still simple.

What goes wrong

Some pieces arrive damaged and the bed can work loose, and neither one worries me much. Both are easy to deal with if you catch them early.

Before you order

You can send any of these back within 30 days of delivery, but you usually pay the return shipping, and Wayfair takes it out of your refund. Dropping the piece at a Wayfair store gets around that, and so does taking store credit if you are a Wayfair Rewards member or have the Wayfair credit card.

Keep the boxes flat behind a door for the first month. Wayfair wants anything that arrived in pieces sent back in pieces, so if you have doubts about the bed or the dresser, decide before you build it.

Check the listing for a Clearance or Open Box badge, because those cannot go back at all. Wayfair ships free over $35, and one set of curtains is under that, so add something else you need.
