The short answer
The Vera now sells as the Ergohuman Vera Piano, and both colourways have been out of stock on Amazon for months. Nobody I checked has it.
The closest thing you can actually buy is the Casden mesh task chair at around $230, or an Ergohuman ME7ERG if you want the same lineage and can live with three times the price.
What the Vera was
A mid-range contract task chair. Frameless mesh back, adjustable lumbar, six-way arms, synchro tilt, foam seat. It sold into offices rather than living rooms, and the spec reflected that.
Frameless mesh is the part worth understanding. A conventional chair stretches mesh over a rigid frame, and that frame edge is what your shoulder blades find after two hours. A frameless back holds the mesh under tension without the hard perimeter, so the pressure spreads instead of concentrating. It costs more to build, which is why it usually appears on chairs priced well above what the Vera asked.
Where it went
Eurotech Seating moved the model under the Ergohuman brand and it now lists as the Ergohuman Vera Piano. The Amazon listing survives, sitting at 3.9 stars, with both colour options showing out of stock. Wayfair does not stock it at all, and a search there returns other Ergohuman models instead.
Chairs get discontinued quietly. There is rarely an announcement, just a listing that stops restocking until one day the page comes down.

4.4 stars across 307 reviews, which is more owner feedback than every other chair on this page combined. It lands in the same price bracket the Vera occupied and covers the same brief: mesh back, task chair, adjustable, meant to be sat in all day rather than admired.

Flaw worth knowing
Framed mesh rather than frameless, so you lose the specific thing that made the Vera comfortable. At a third of the Ergohuman price that is a fair trade for most people.
Ergohuman ME7ERG high back
4.6 stars across 80 reviews. This is the Vera’s own family, built by the brand the Vera was folded into, with a headrest the Vera never had.
Flaw worth knowing
Around $817, which is more than three times what a Vera cost. Eighty reviews is a usable sample but a thin one for a chair at this price.
The cheaper Ergohuman options
The ME2ERG-XTREME sits near $727 and the plain Ergohuman Task Chair near $782, rated 4.9 but across only 34 reviews. Thirty-four is not enough to separate a genuinely good chair from a new listing, so treat that rating as unproven rather than impressive.
What I passed on
A BIFMA-certified mesh chair at $215 showing 4.8 stars across 16 reviews. BIFMA certification is a real thing and it means the chair passed structural testing, which most consumer chairs never attempt. Sixteen reviews is still sixteen reviews. Worth your own look if budget is the constraint, but I will not put my name on it yet.
Also the Vera itself. It ranks well here and I could keep pointing people at a listing that has been out of stock for months, which would earn me nothing and waste your time.

Why does frameless mesh cost more?
Holding mesh under even tension without a rigid perimeter is harder to engineer and harder to build. You are paying for the absence of a part.
Will the Vera come back?
No idea, and anyone claiming otherwise is guessing. Discontinued office chairs rarely return.
